What's the process?
Once you have reserved your wedding date online, you will receive an automatic confirmation email that contains packing instructions as well as the next steps. 48 hours ahead of your wedding date you will receive a reminder email. You will be responsible for sending your flowers to me, using the packing instructions provided. If you prefer, you are welcome to hand-deliver your flowers to my studio in Buntingford, Hertfordshire. This can all be discussed in more detail after booking. Once I have your flowers, I will reconfirm your order and then send across your invoice. The whole process typically takes anywhere between 5-12 months, but I will keep you updated as often as I’m able, within this timeframe.
During busy periods this time frame could be longer. Once your order is complete, I will send you photos/videos of your item(s) and post your order via a 1st-class signed-for service with Royal Mail. Again, you are welcome to collect your items in person if you prefer.

I use the highest quality casting resin which is UV stabilised and inhibits yellowing, however, all resin will take on an amber tint over a period of time. While resin may amber over time, it will take on a beautiful vintage feel and is a timeless way to display your flowers. To prolong the resin clarity it's best to display your item out of direct sunlight or away from heat such as fireplace mantels to avoid this. The sun will always win this battle! I cannot take any responsibility for resin pieces that turn yellow/amber after a short period of time as there is no way to know how much UV exposure the items were exposed to while in the client’s possession. I include care cards with all finished orders with instructions on how to properly care for your piece.

Once you have reserved your wedding date online you will received a detailed confirmation email containing instructions on how, and where to send your flowers. For best results, your flowers need to be shipped via next-day delivery within 3 days of your wedding day. You can also hand-deliver these if you prefer.

This depends on the flower & colour. Drying & preserving may change the colours slightly depending on the shade & flower type. This colour change is completely normal and is a side effect of drying. I use high-quality silica sand during the drying process which retains the shape & vibrancy of your flowers. Common changes can include:
Light pink can change to a soft shade of lilac
Dark Pink & blue can change to a shade of purple
Red roses change into a deep shade of burgundy - they’re very dark once placed in resin so best to be balanced out with other colours if possible.
White flowers are delicate and often change to an off-white/cream colour, sometimes even shades of yellow
White flowers and pastel colors sometimes turn translucent in spots once placed in resin. Some flowers dry a lot better than others, if your arrangement is all one type of flower or you have concerns over their suitability feel free to message me to discuss them. There is a possibility that the flowers may become dull over time

If your order is over £500, you can pay in 2 x 50% instalments. If your order is over £1200, you can spread the cost over 3 interest free payments (every 4 weeks). The first instalment is due on the same day that I receive your flowers so please make sure you are available to do so. If your order is under £500, full payment is due on the same day.

The process can take anywhere between 5-12 months. This is standard for flower preservation. Please be wary of any other companies offering a shorter turnaround time as this can lead to disappointment. The wait will be worthwhile!
